Who We Are
Silverstream Recycling, located at Idu Industrial Layout Abuja, operates a state-of-the-art Recycling Plant for the reprocessing of waste nylon and plastic materials. The waste materials are recycled to produce three main products namely: Pellets (granules), Conduit Pipes, and new Nylon/Plastic Bags. At the moment, we are up and running up to the Pellets stage, while expansion plans are on-going for the Blown Films and Pipe Extrusion lines. We derive pride in making good use of these waste materials while turning them into wealth through job creation, youth empowerment and revenue generation.
The venture is designed for the reprocessing of PE polyethylene and PP polypropylene plastic packaging materials into high quality reusable pellets. The produced pellets from the two-stage plastic recycling machine would be put directly back to the production line, mostly for blown films (nylon bags) and pipe extrusion processes.

The business initiative is not only drawn from the passion for clean environment and climate preservation, but also to create manufacturing jobs for a large proportion of unemployed Nigerians. This will also ensure the inflow of revenue into the national economy. Plastic pipes for electrical cable installation in buildings and pipes for plumbing purposes would be manufactured within the country from the reusable pellets. So also, plastic and packaging nylon bags.
A lot of plastic materials are being grossly wasted in great damage to the environment. An innovative idea we have put in place is the collection-scheme for the waste plastic/nylon materials, with a reward system for artisans, traders, students, and street vendors. Our collection team are working with the framework that ensures the waste are being gathered for us with certain level of pecuniary commitment, adequate collection publicity, and collaborations with industries, scavengers, environmental and local agencies in the region.
